TIMARU DRIVING CENTRE
Situation
The NZ Advanced Driving Centre Timaru is based at the
Timaru International Raceway (Levels)
which is situated on Faheys Road, near the
Timaru Airport, 8km from Timaru.
Levels is set in a rural area and is owned by
the South Canterbury Car Club and is an ideal club circuit.
Facilities
NZ Advanced Driver Training generally utilises the
circuit clubrooms as its driver training base.
It is approximately 7km to the
nearest food outlet.
Accommodation
There is a wide selection of hotels and motels
in Timaru.
Nearest Major Airport
Timaru Airport and Christchurch International
Airport.
Frequency of Courses
Most of the central South Island clients
prefer to attend the NZ Advanced Driving Centre Christchurch,
which is approximately
1½ hours drive North from
Timaru... however it can be utilised if required,
subject to achieving minimum attendance numbers.
