CHRISTCHURCH DRIVING CENTRE
Situation
The NZ Advanced Driving Centre Christchurch is based at
the Powerbuilt Raceway, Ruapuna situated 13km
south-west of Christchurch on
Hasketts Road between the Main South and Main West Highways.
Powerbuilt Raceway is the centre of this
multi motorsports facility which incorporates the circuit,
drag strip and
speedway all in close proximity to each other.
This is easily the South Island's premier
driver training facility.
Facilities
NZ Advanced Driver Training generally utilises the
Amon Lounge
corporate hospitality area adjoining the circuit
as its driver training base.
We also occasionally utilise the Powerbuilt Lounge on Level 2 of the Control
Tower.
There is only limited food options available
5 minutes drive from the venue at Templeton.
On-site catering is available
by prior arrangement for larger corporate groups or special events subject to numbers.
Accommodation
There is a numerous selection of hotels and motels
in Christchurch and districts.
Whenever the NZ Advanced Driver Training team are in Christchurch,
they prefer to
stay at the Clyde on Riccarton and choose to dine at
Sophies Café.
Nearest Major Airport
Christchurch International Airport.
Rental Vehicle
Locations
AVIS Car Rentals are available from both Christchurch City and the Airport.
Frequency of Courses
We conduct training in the South Island generally
2-3 times a year subject to demand.
We would usually do 2-3 consecutive
courses days per visit.
