Course Information (Stage 2)

    Prior completion of our Stage 1 Course is a 
pre-requisite for attendance upon our Stage 2 Course

Course Duration

One Full Day Training.  ( 9am to 4-30pm )

bulletTheory Session approx 20% "usable practical theory"
bulletPractical Sessions approx 80% "hands-on practical learn by doing"

Includes:
bulletPractical in car demonstrations of all exercises by professional instructors...  
bullet Extensive "one on one" in-car instruction in the participants own vehicle throughout the day...
bulletUtilisation of one of our Holden Advanced Driver Training vehicles for the practical 
skid avoidance and recovery training exercises...
bullet1 - 4 maximum instructor/participant ratio...

bulletVehicle dynamics and handling characteristics
bulletPractical hands-on skid control correctional techniques
bulletAdvanced car control techniques
bulletAdvanced ABS braking techniques
bulletAdvanced Threshold braking techniques
bulletPractical accident avoidance / collision prevention techniques
bulletDefensive and safe driving techniques
bulletAdvanced safe cornering techniques
bulletPositive reinforcement of safe driver attitudes

Stage 2 Courses currently have limited set dates... 
and are conducted subject to minimum attendance numbers, 
currently only utilising the Manfeild and Ruapuna venues.

participating and we will then contact you individually to 
discuss the available course date options.

South Island
Registrations are now being taken for our next Stage 2 Courses at the
Holden Driving Centre Christchurch at Powerbuilt Raceway Ruapuna is on 
Wednesday the 28th April 2010

North Island
 Our next scheduled Stage 2 Course to be held at the 
Holden Driving Centre Manawatu at Manfeild Park Raceway is on 
Wednesday the 16th December 2009
